ABOUT ME
Hi, nice to meet you, I’m Alex. I’m a photographer, husband and new father and I live just outside of London in Kent.
My career as a photographer started almost a decade ago and was initially rooted predominantly in the music and fashion industries. However, after being introduced to wedding photography in 2021, I immediately felt like I’d finally found the right fit.
There is a depth to wedding photography that I’ve not experienced anywhere else. A depth in the relationships, the story and the emotion. With every couple there is an opportunity to capture something so vulnerable and preserve it. It is such a privilege to watch people marry and an even greater privilege to capture it.
MY APPROACH ON THE DAY
I would describe my photographic approach as documentary meets relaxed editorial, capturing your day as it naturally unfolds, while creating beautiful, considered imagery along the way.
My digital work is anchored in a filmic style but I can’t help but bring film into the mix too. It’s such a big part of the voice of my work and where so much of my passion lies. I love the creativity it brings to a wedding day. Film has a way of making an image feel lived-in rather than overly polished, and that’s something I’m really drawn to. It feels honest and instinctive.
